Kim Petras, Feed the Beast

Today marks the highly-anticipated return of Kim Petras, as she unveils her latest musical offering, “Feed the Beast.” This album holds special significance in Petras’ career, as it stands as her inaugural studio album, following the release of two mixtapes, a collection of EPs, and numerous successful singles. The arrival of “Feed the Beast” comes almost a year after Petras took to Twitter to express her frustration over the lack of approval to release the album, which was then rumored to bear the title “Problématique.”

Among the tracks featured on “Feed the Beast” are several previously released singles, including the immensely popular collaboration with Sam Smith, titled “Unholy.” This groundbreaking song propelled Petras to the summit of the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first openly transgender artist to achieve such a milestone. The album also boasts the presence of “Alone,” a captivating track featuring the one and only Nicki Minaj, which debuted in April. Additionally, the album incorporates the earlier releases of “brrr” from January and “Coconuts” from December 2021.
